Iconographia florae Sueciae (2025) is a series of hand-drawn illustrations made with colour pens on black paper, based on flowers found in and around my home in Sweden. The work blends scientific observation with personal reflection, capturing the quiet, often unnoticed beauty of local flora. Rendered in vivid tones against a dark background, each drawing highlights the subtle presence of plants that are easily missed. This series is both a botanical study and a visual diary of the hidden beauty in ordinary surroundings.

This project was developed during my studies in visual narrative at the Academy of Art and Design at University of Gothenburg.
